About Me

I am a computer science professor. My life is hectic at times as I serve my university and community, teach, and conduct research. Not to mention, creating a happy family and figuring out what in the world I am doing with myself.

To keep my busy self sane, I have several hobbies to get myself to slow down and live in the moment. Hence the name "Hobby Sanity." My hobbies center around the arts and crafts. I especially love making things as gifts for others.

The goals of this blog are to:

1. Share my love to create things,
2. Have a record of what I've made and my thoughts on them,
3. Provide a place for people to see what I make, and
4. Give people a way to contact me if they like one of my creations.
