Crochet Leaf

A while ago I found a pattern for a leaf in Crochet Inspiration by Sasha Kagan. I loved it and made it with some multicolored reddish brown yarn. Now I have no idea what I will do with it, maybe some kind of decor under something? Crochet a blanket around it, using a different color? An applique onto something?

I also made it with thread crochet, to see how it would turn out. Perhaps I could use it as a coaster?

The brown one is actually quite big, 20" x 19", and the white one is really too big to be a coaster, 8" x 8". Regardless, I really like this pattern and hopefully I'll be able to figure out some use for them.
