Dark purple luxuriant scarf

When I neared the finishline of writing my dissertation, I hired an editor to help me find all of the pesky little text mistakes. He was awesome and gave me confidence that my dissertation was polished. I offered to make him a scarf as a bonus and he asked for a purple one for his wife. So here we go.

Thoughts on the process

After crocheting to my desired length, I finished by using a simple sc around the entire scarf and 3 sc at each corner, interpolating at the ends with lots of ch. I was tempted to use a fancier edging, however, I had very little yarn leftover. Here is a reference photo.
